Goodbye Tonsils!!
Ashlynn said goodbye to her tonsils today. She is recovering beautifully while feasting on ice cream, jello, and popsicles! And, what kind of mother would I be if I made her eat those things by herself! She is resting comfortably on the couch, along with her dry erase board, ringing bell and Ipod. Life is good!

It struck me......
At the end of her life, Erma Bombeck made a list of things if she were given a "do over" in this life.
According to Erma Bombeck, "If I had to live my life over......
I would have talked less and listened more.
I would have invited friends over even if the carpet was stained and the sofa faded.
I would have eaten popcorn in the "good" living room.
I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.
I would never have insisted that the windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been done.
I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.
I would have sat on the lawn with my children, and not worried about grass stains.
I would have cried and laughed less while watching t.v. and more while watching life.
I would have stayed in bed when I was sick, instead of thinking that the world would be on a holding pattern if I wasn't there.
I wouldn't have bought anything just because it was practical.
I would have cherished every day of my pregnancy, realizing that the wonderment in me, was the only chance in life, to assist God in a miracle.
There would have been more, "I love you's" and "I'm sorrys."
But really if given another shot at life I would seize every minute....look at it and really see it...live it...and never give it back."

Spring Break!!
It's been a busy spring break in the Kile household.
We'll start off with the prom dress shopping. It's hard for me not to picture her in her pigtails.
After many dresses and a lot of patience, the winner is.......
